Superintendent's Message

LB

Welcome to our website. We are very pleased that you have found your way to us and encourage you to use this site to learn about our schools, their programs and the many initiatives we are engaged in.  The Woodcliff Lake Schools and Community represent some of the finest opportunities available for living and learning; naturally, we are proud of what has been accomplished here since 1895, the date of our beginning.

The schools have a history of excellence and attract residents who value experiences for their children that provide lifetime opportunities.

This website (including the mobile app) has become the center for communication in the district. Parents can add Google calendars and are able to log into the PowerSchool portal.  Each faculty member has an individual website, imbedded in the building's site, allowing teachers, students, parents, and others to communicate and participate in the learning process.

Our schools continue to "go green," as much for our environmental responsibility, as for the convenience this allows. Our Woodcliff Weekly (our dIstrict weekly email) provides timely information and announcements from the district, the PFA and the WCLEF directly to your device of choice. As viewers, you can read and utilize the "hyperlinks" to gather additional information and/or forms.

Finally, each year brings changes and challenges. The economic issues in our state and nation have clearly impacted our district, yet we continue to be able to offer top-level programs. Our innovative scheduling at the elementary and middle schools is second to none and our 1-1 Chromebook initiative in grades 6-8 is thriving.  The faculty is enthusiastic and ready for another year of learning and discovery.

We are anticipating our very best year ahead and encourage you to check back to our website often to keep track of our progress and to offer advice and suggestions as we make our way forward.

Thank you again for your interest in the Woodcliff Lake School System.
