Dear Parents and Guardians:
I hope this letter finds you enjoying the summer with family and friends. As September approaches, the excitement of a new school year begins to be felt throughout the school community. The 2019-2020 school year will be filled with unique opportunities and experiences including an enhanced school schedule and new comprehensive, community-based character education program.
Woodcliff Middle School continuously provides a robust academic and extracurricular program for its students. Our dedicated faculty works diligently to develop the social and emotional confidence of all students in order to prepare them for their future academic and personal endeavors. Students are encouraged to take advantage of the various extracurricular opportunities, enrichment clubs, and athletic teams offered at the school. Such participation can help to enhance the overall middle school experience and provide important opportunities for personal and social growth.
An honest and supportive partnership between all members of the school community is essential to ensure that every student is able to learn, grow, and succeed. I look forward to building on the foundation of last school year as we continue to work together to make Woodcliff Middle School a place children love to be and one where they can create memories they will cherish forever. My door is always open to parents and students for any questions or concerns you may have. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if I can be of assistance to you or your child in any way.
We look forward to an interesting, challenging and rewarding year ahead. Additional information pertaining to our school programs will be provided at Back-to-School Night, which will be held on Monday, September 16th, from 6:45 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Upon arrival on the first day of school, students should report to the following locations for schedule distribution:
7th and 8th Grades: WCMS Gymnasium
6th Grade: 1st period class
(Students will know this from attending orientation.)
Enjoy the remaining weeks of summer. I look forward to our continued partnership during the upcoming school year.
For 6th graders and new students attending our orientation sessions on either Thursday, August 22nd or Tuesday, August 27th, you may bring your school supplies with you on that day to organize them in your locker.
Principal, Woodcliff Middle School
