I am delighted to be a part of such a great school community!   My name is Karen Jans and I am a Small Group Instruction Teacher at Dorchester Elementary.  I am married and have three wonderful children and two amazing grandchildren.  I graduated from Ramapo College with a degree in psychology and my Elementary Education certification.  I continued my education at William Paterson University, where I received my Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification.  Because I love learning almost as much as I love teaching, I continue to seek educational opportunities and information to enhance student success.
