Welcome to the Woodcliff Lake PFA website! The PFA is made up of dynamic volunteers who are dedicated to enriching our children's school experiences. On any given day, you can walk the school hallways and find a PFA volunteer at work; chaperoning an enrichment, serving pizza, organizing an assembly or shelving library books. It takes many volunteers, a dedicated staff and a supportive community to make our schools great. Please get involved and help us enhance our beloved school system. Cultural Arts in Education Programs A Taste opf Spain May 10th (5th-8th Grades) To suppport the WCMS World Language Expo, the PFA has invited the critically acclaimed Alborada Spanish Dance Troupe to perform for the students. From Fandango to Flamenco, from the Courts of France and Italy to Madrid and the Gypsy camps, join the Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre in celebrating the shared heritage that is now the hallmark of Spanish Dance. With colorful costumes and energetic dances, Spain will come to life.
Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival Touring Company - Romeo & Juliet Residency Program
May 23rd &24th (8th Grade) The critically acclaimed Shakespeare Theater Company has worked closely with the 8th grade WCMS ELA teachers, during the summer break, to create a residency program to complement the students' study of "Romeo & Juliet". The Company will meet the 8th grade students during their ELA class, after they have read "Romeo & Juliet". Earth Dome June 5th (1st - 5th grades)The Earth Dome is the newest in education technology. Students will learn about continents, time zones, latitude, longitude and scale in gigantic inflatable earth balloon all tiered to specific grade levels.
