Dear Friends,
It is hard to believe that this is my last letter as President. The past three years have flown by. So many wonderful things have happened within our school district, all encouraging our students to grow and thrive in an outstanding academic environment. We have renovated and built state of the art classrooms, we have hired top-notch faculty and administrators, and our academic performance is continually rising. The PFA has had enormously successful fundraisers and changes to lunches and class parties that now fit within state mandates. We continue to provide exceptional assemblies to coordinate with the curriculum and enrichment programs for students of all ages. In addition, the opportunity for students to participate in community service programs is always present. It is with great confidence that I pass the reins of the presidency to Tracey Tortora. I know Tracey will work hard to continue making the PFA the success that it has been for so many years. Tracey has an outstanding board of directors who will work closely with her and each other and all of you. Please continue to volunteer. Your child loves to see you in “their” school. Thanks to the hundreds of you who have volunteered over the years and thank you in advance for continuing to do so. I hope you have a happy, healthy, and safe summer. Elyssa Schecter |
