Dear Faculty and Staff,
Let this letter serve to announce the availability of a new and important service which will further improve our ability to communicate. This will be a significant tool, especially during inclement weather or in a crisis. The link below takes you to an enrollment page (different from the sign-up for our website) that will provide you with space to sign up for two email accounts and one text message (cell) account. This will allow us to email and text message the accounts you set up. This adds the third leg to our improved methods of direct communication. We now have:
1) Website Alerts – sign up through our District’s homepage once you are a registered user following directions to toggle those alerts you wish to receive. 2) Reverse 911 Calls – sign up is automatic courtesy of our PFA. 3) Text and/or Email Message – sign up through the link at the bottom of this page. Faculty and staff are encouraged to avail themselves of each of the three opportunities to receive communications from our school district. We expect to use the reverse 911 call system and the text/email system on a limited basis. We understand that in moments of crisis or emergency, you may well be receiving multiple messages from us and that is exactly the design. Overlapping our communication allows you to be contacted and not missed when information is vital to the safety of our students and your safety.
